Millwright Production Technician
We require a Production Technician for an extrusion plant to maintain machines through preventative and breakdown maintenance, ensuring production stays efficient and of high-quality.
Main Responsibilities
· Quickly and correctly set up and change production lines.
· Handle tool changes and machine setups, and guide staff to do the same properly.
· Keep machines running at their best — efficient, reliable, and with minimal waste.
· Fine-tune supporting equipment (feeders, drillers, coilers) and train supervisors on adjustments.
· Enter production details into the factory system (MES).
· Help plan and schedule production orders.
· Assist with breakdowns, repairs, and ensure equipment stays in good condition.
· Support maintenance, improvement projects, and new installations.
· Manage spare parts stock (rollers, tools, rings, etc.) and keep supplies replenished.
Requirements
· Relevant Qualification: Millwright, Electrician, Electronic Artisan
· 3 years of experience hands-on in an extrusion plant & FMCG plant
· Fluent in English AND Afrikaans
· Driver's License
